Autumn season summary: Plzeň top, Slavia second and Sparta third

As expected, Plzeň are top of the table, having only lost one match of the autumn season to Zlin. After a shaky start to the season, Plzeň improved rapidly and now hold a one point lead over rivals Slavia.

Since taking over at Slavia, coach Jaroslav Šilhavý has seen the side hit their stride with nine wins and three draws, even outclassing Zlín 4:0. Sparta lie in third place in the league, having upped their performance in the latter part of the autumn season.

Zlín, on the other hand, had an unbelievable start to the season, but come November the team started to falter. They lost at home to Slavia and Dukla and have now dropped to fourth in the league, but this is still a great achievement for coach Bohumil Paník. Boleslav can not be happy with their performance, particularly towards the end of the autumn season, which has seen the team fail to win any of their last six matches including their last match against Příbram.

After the autumn season, Příbram have nine points and are firmly at the bottom of the league. Jihlava faired a little better and now lie fifteenth. Above Jihlava, Hradec, Brno and Liberec have a 3 point advantage with all teams on 16 points.
